Thanks to the favorable weather except on the last day, there were more than 100,000 visitors to this exhibition. The total number of visitors went down by 0.6% compared to the last exhibition, but there were a lot of comments stating that at FOOMA JAPAN, one can actually grasp the meaningfulness of the large number of visitors. |

The composition of visitors consisted mainly from the manufacturing and processing categories. In particular, the visitors from “meat and marine”, “noodles,” “beverage and dairy products” categories increased compared to the previous year. |

This year there were 770 visitors from 33 countries overseas and many global-based business talks were conducted. As usual, many visitors came particularly from Korea, Taiwan and China. Also the visitors from Europe increased this year. |
