私ども丸井工業は昭和38 年の創業以来、一貫してオリジナルな機械の設計・製作を業として参りました。産業廃棄物の処理問題には早くから着目し、昭和56 年にはビール粕等の脱水を目的とした多連式スクリュー脱水機を開発、その後も長年蓄積したスクリューのノウハウを活かして食品機械分野に参入、平成に入り、ジュース用ならびに豆乳用脱水機を開発いたしました。特に、スクリュー脱水機の超小型化は世界にも類を見ないもので、これにより製品化したMTS-SP 型は豆腐業界で6,000 台を突破するベストセラー機となり、令和元年には脱水ケーキ（おから等）の搬送ライン密閉・CIP 化により、おから等の食用への転用にも取り組んでいます。
